Description
The Ajax ReX range extender (white) relays radio signals between the control panel and Ajax devices that are too far away. It extends the coverage of the system without running cables to the detectors.
Who is it for?
Multi-storey houses, cellars, outbuildings, detached garages, large offices or warehouses: wherever thick walls or distance weaken the link with the control panel.

- Up to 5 ReX per system on recent control panels (only one on older ones).
- Built-in backup battery: the range extender keeps working if its external power supply is cut.

Examples of use
Covering a workshop at the bottom of the garden, connecting an outdoor siren placed far from the control panel, or making the link more reliable in a concrete building. Each range extender connects directly to the control panel: a ReX cannot connect to another ReX.
ReX or ReX 2?
The ReX does not support MotionCam detectors. If your system uses photo verification, or if you also want to link the range extender to the control panel by Ethernet cable, choose the ReX 2, which relays photos and offers this second channel.
Compatibility and related products
