Description
The Ajax Hub hub is the first generation of Ajax hub: it receives the detectors by Jeweller radio (up to 2,000 m in open field, encrypted), triggers the sirens and sends the alert by GSM and Ethernet.
Who it is for
A small home or a simple installation: up to 100 devices and 50 users, controlled from the app. No mandatory subscription, notifications included.
Its limits, frankly
The Hub does not handle photo verification: you know an alarm went off, not what caused it, and photo detectors such as the MotionCam are not compatible. If remote verification matters to you, go for the Hub 2 hub instead.
Placing it and completing it
Always test the signal in the app before fixing a detector. If a zone is far away, a ReX repeater extends the range (5 at most per hub). To get started: MotionProtect, DoorProtect and the StreetSiren siren.
Obligations and installation
