Description
The Ajax Hub 2 control panel manages the entire system: it receives the detectors, triggers the sirens and transmits alerts. Communication via dual-SIM GSM and Ethernet.
The right choice for most homes
The Hub 2 handles photo verification — that is what sets it apart from the first-generation Hub, and it is the feature that really matters day to day. Without an image, an alarm is binary information: something moved. With an image, you know within three seconds whether it is the cat or an intrusion.
Dual transmission
Ethernet as the primary channel, GSM as backup. If your router goes down or the line is cut, the alert is sent over the mobile network. The two SIM slots let you use two operators to cover areas where one has poor reception.
If you also want Wi-Fi and greater capacity, take a look at the Hub 2 Plus — the comparison is here.
What to combine it with
Motion and opening detectors · outdoor siren, the most deterrent element at the scouting stage · keypad to arm without taking out your phone.
Legal obligation in Belgium
System not connected to a monitoring centre: declaration on police-on-web within ten days, annual confirmation, and siren limited to three minutes. Full details are in our guide.
