Description
The Ajax ReX 2 repeater extends the radio range of an Ajax system and also relays photo verification from image detectors.
What it is for
Jeweller radio reaches up to 2,000 m in open field, but walls and floors reduce the range. When a detector is too far from the hub (garage, outbuilding, distant floor), a repeater relays the signal.
Why the ReX 2 and not the ReX
Because it passes the photos through. If you have a MotionCam out of direct range of the hub, this is the one you need.
To know, frankly
- Always test the signal in the app before fixing a detector: the repeater is only for zones where the test is weak.
- Five ReX repeaters at most per hub.
