Description
The Ajax StreetSiren outdoor siren is a wireless siren for the façade: visible from the street, it runs on its own internal battery and signals any attempt to open the housing (tamper).
What it is for
Deterring before the break-in and warning the neighbourhood. For many homes, it is the best cost/effect ratio in all residential security.
Where to place it
- High up, above 2.5 m, clearly visible on the street side.
- Test the signal in the app before fixing it; a ReX repeater extends the range if needed.
Choosing, frankly
To display your company's name or logo on the siren, see the StreetSiren DoubleDeck. For the interior, the HomeSiren is the suitable compact siren.
Belgian rule
The outdoor siren is limited to 3 minutes, and a system not connected to a monitoring centre is declared on police-on-web within 10 days.
What to combine it with
A Hub 2 hub and detectors. See the Ajax sirens and the whole Ajax alarm range. Installation by Belgium Security Brussels possible.
