General terms and conditions of sale

Article 1 — Identification of the seller

Belgium Security Brussels SRL is a security company authorised by the FPS Home Affairs under number 0666.948.937 for the installation and maintenance of alarm systems and camera systems.
Article 2 — Scope
These general terms and conditions of sale govern every order placed on securishop.be. They are accessible at any time on the website, and the buyer acknowledges having read and accepted them before confirming the order.
Certain provisions distinguish between:
- the consumer, a natural person acting for purposes outside the scope of their professional activity;
- the business customer, acting in the course of their economic, commercial, craft or professional activity.
The mandatory provisions of Belgian consumer law apply automatically to the consumer and take precedence over any contrary clause in these terms and conditions.
Any general purchasing conditions of the business customer are expressly excluded, unless SecuriShop has given its prior written agreement.
Article 3 — Products, availability and stock shortages
The photographs, illustrations and videos shown on the website are provided for information only and have no contractual value. Technical specifications are those provided by the manufacturer and may change without notice on its part.
The offer is valid while stocks last. Part of the catalogue is not kept permanently in stock: these items are ordered from the manufacturer or distributor on receipt of the order.
If an ordered product turns out to be unavailable after the order has been confirmed, SecuriShop will inform the buyer as soon as possible. The buyer may then cancel the order for the item concerned. The amounts paid for this item are refunded no later than thirty (30) days after notification of the unavailability, without charge or penalty.
The unavailability of an item does not give rise to any additional compensation.
Article 4 — Prices
Prices are stated in euros, all taxes included, including Belgian VAT. They exclude delivery costs, which are calculated and displayed before the final confirmation of the order.
The prices displayed may be changed at any time, in particular in the event of a price revision by the manufacturer or distributor. The price applicable to an order is the one displayed at the time the buyer confirms it; any subsequent price change has no effect on orders already confirmed.
Legally applicable environmental contributions (Recupel, Bebat) are, where applicable, included in the prices displayed.
In the event of an obvious pricing error, in particular a display error that is derisory in relation to the actual value of the product, SecuriShop reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the buyer in full, after informing them.
Article 5 — Ordering
The order follows these steps: selection of items, review of the basket, entry of contact details and delivery address, choice of delivery and payment method, acceptance of these terms and conditions, then final confirmation.
The buyer may correct their details and the contents of their basket at each step, up to final confirmation. Confirmation constitutes acceptance of the price, the products and these terms and conditions.
The contract is formed when SecuriShop sends the order confirmation by e-mail. SecuriShop reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for a legitimate reason, in particular in the event of a previous payment dispute, an order that is abnormal compared with usual quantities, or suspected fraud.
Article 6 — Payment
Payment is due in full on ordering, by the means offered on the website. Transactions are secured by the payment service providers; SecuriShop has no access to any complete bank details.
The products remain the property of SecuriShop until full payment of the price, including principal, costs and incidentals. Risk nevertheless passes in accordance with Article 8.
With regard to the business customer only, any late payment automatically and without formal notice gives rise to interest at the statutory rate for late payment in commercial transactions, as well as a fixed recovery compensation in accordance with the law.
Article 7 — Delivery
The delivery arrangements, zones, costs and times are set out in our delivery policy, which forms an integral part of these terms and conditions.
The delivery times stated are indicative and depend on the carrier and on availability from the manufacturer. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, delivery takes place no later than thirty (30) days after the conclusion of the contract.
If this deadline is exceeded, the consumer may call on SecuriShop to deliver within a reasonable additional period and, failing that, terminate the contract and obtain a refund of the amounts paid.
Article 8 — Transfer of risk
For the consumer, the risk of loss of or damage to the goods passes at the moment they take physical possession of the goods, or when a third party designated by them takes possession.
For the business customer, the risk passes as soon as the goods are handed over to the carrier.
It is recommended to check the condition of the parcel on receipt and to report any damage or missing items to the carrier and to SecuriShop as soon as possible.
Article 9 — Right of withdrawal
The consumer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days to withdraw, without having to give reasons for their decision. Return costs are borne by the buyer.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers.
Article 10 — Warranties
10.1 Legal guarantee of conformity — consumers
The consumer benefits from the two (2) year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery of the goods, owed by the seller under Belgian law. This guarantee is a matter of public policy: it cannot be excluded, limited or replaced by the manufacturer's warranty.
In the event of a lack of conformity, the consumer may request repair or replacement of the goods and, in the cases provided for by law, a price reduction or termination of the contract. The defect must be reported to SecuriShop within two months of its discovery.
10.2 Warranty — business customers
With regard to the business customer, the warranty is limited to the manufacturer's commercial warranty, for a period of twenty-four (24) months unless a different period is stated on the product page, and is exercised in accordance with the manufacturer's own terms and procedures.
10.3 Manufacturer's commercial warranty
Certain products benefit from a commercial warranty from the manufacturer. This is in addition to the legal guarantee and never replaces it for the consumer.
10.4 Exclusions
The commercial warranty does not cover damage resulting from: normal wear and tear; installation, configuration or connection not in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions; failure to follow the user and maintenance instructions; power surges, lightning, water damage, fire or any event external to the product; modification, repair or disassembly carried out by a third party not authorised by the manufacturer; use not in accordance with the product's intended purpose.
These exclusions do not affect the consumer's legal guarantee of conformity.
Article 11 — Installation and related services
The sale of equipment on securishop.be does not include installation, except where an installation service is expressly ordered and invoiced.
Installation, repair and maintenance services are carried out by Belgium Security Brussels SRL, a security company authorised by the FPS Home Affairs under number 0666.948.937. They are subject to their own terms and scope, which are brought to the customer's attention before the intervention.
The installation of an alarm or camera system by an unauthorised third party is the sole responsibility of the buyer and may prevent coverage under the manufacturer's commercial warranty.
Article 12 — Regulatory obligations of the buyer
The buyer is solely responsible for compliance with the regulations applicable to their use of the equipment purchased.
- Alarm systems: any system installed in a property in Belgium must be declared via the federal contact point provided for this purpose. The declaration is free of charge and is the user's responsibility.
- Surveillance cameras: the installation and use of cameras are governed by the Act of 21 March 2007 and by the General Data Protection Regulation. As data controller, the buyer must in particular declare the cameras and confirm this declaration annually, display the regulatory pictogram, keep a record of processing activities and respect the rights of the persons filmed.
SecuriShop supplies the equipment and, on request, general information. It does not act in the buyer's place in fulfilling these obligations and cannot be held liable for any failure to fulfil them.
Article 13 — Liability
SecuriShop is bound by an obligation of means in the performance of its commitments.
An alarm or video surveillance system is a means of deterrence, detection and recording. It does not constitute a guarantee against intrusion, theft, vandalism or any other loss, and no obligation of result to that effect can be inferred from the sale.
To the extent permitted by law, SecuriShop's liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage and may not exceed the amount of the order concerned. Indirect damage is excluded, in particular operating losses, loss of data, loss of profit and commercial loss.
These limitations do not apply in the event of fraud, gross negligence, harm to the life or physical integrity of a person, nor in cases where the law prohibits any limitation of liability. They do not affect the consumer's mandatory rights, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity and liability for defective products.
Article 14 — Force majeure
SecuriShop is not liable for non-performance or delayed performance attributable to an event of force majeure, in particular: supply shortage at the manufacturer, interruption of transport, fire, flood, cyberattack, decision by the authorities, strike or industrial dispute. If the event lasts longer than thirty days, either party may terminate the contract, with the amounts paid being refunded.
Article 15 — Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in our privacy policy. The buyer has the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, which may be exercised using the contact details in Article 1.
Article 16 — Intellectual property
All elements of the website — texts, descriptions, photographs, logos, structure — are protected. Any reproduction or use, in whole or in part, without prior written authorisation is prohibited. The Ajax and Dahua trademarks and those of other manufacturers remain the property of their respective owners.
Article 17 — Partial invalidity
If a clause of these terms and conditions is declared null, unlawful or unenforceable, it shall be deemed unwritten and replaced by a valid provision whose effect is as close as possible. The other clauses remain fully effective.
Article 18 — Evidence
The computerised records of SecuriShop and its payment service providers constitute proof of orders, payments and communications, without prejudice to the buyer's right to provide evidence to the contrary by any means.
Article 19 — Applicable law and dispute resolution
These terms and conditions are governed by Belgian law.
In the event of difficulty, the buyer is invited to contact SecuriShop first, in order to seek an amicable solution.
Consumers. Failing agreement, the consumer may contact the Consumer Mediation Service, Boulevard du Roi Albert II 8 boîte 1, 1000 Bruxelles (consumerombudsman.be), or bring the matter before the legally competent court. In accordance with European law, the consumer in all cases retains the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
The European online dispute resolution platform permanently ceased its activities on 20 July 2025 and can no longer be used.
Business customers. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Brussels, French-speaking chambers.
Article 20 — Amendment of the terms and conditions
SecuriShop may amend these terms and conditions at any time. The terms and conditions applicable to an order are those in force and accepted at the time of its confirmation.
