What a zone is
A zone is a detection point registered in the control panel: a motion detector, a door contact, a glass-break detector. An apartment has three or four, a house six to ten, a shop or office site many more. The exact number is shown in your app, in the list of devices.
What dispatching does
In the event of an alarm, your system transmits the event and the verification images to our dispatching centre. An operator carries out the alarm verification: they examine the photos and check whether it is a real intrusion.
Once the alarm is confirmed, the operator contacts the competent service directly — police, fire brigade or ambulance depending on the nature of the alarm — without waiting for you to pick up.
Why it matters
An unverified alarm goes to the bottom of the pile for emergency services, if it is handled at all. An alarm verified by an operator triggers a priority response. That is the whole difference between a siren sounding into the void and an actual intervention.
It is also the answer to the most common case: you are in a meeting, on a plane, or simply don't see the notification. The dispatching centre never misses the alert.

- Requires a system with photo verification (MotionCam detectors)
- The system must be connected via IP and/or GSM — we strongly recommend the M2M SIM card as a backup channel
