The dome camera is the most discreet camera in the catalog. Its polycarbonate bubble conceals the lens's orientation: an observer doesn't know where it's looking, making it difficult to bypass.

Why choose a dome camera?

Discretion — it integrates into the ceiling without imposing an aggressive silhouette, which is important in a shop, office, or reception area.

Resistance — IK10-certified vandal-resistant models can withstand impacts. This is the default choice for apartment building lobbies, parking lots, or publicly accessible corridors.

Compactness — a mini-dome is almost unnoticeable, while offering the same sensors as larger formats.

Limitations

The bubble can cause infrared reflections if poorly installed or dirty: IR light bounces off the plexiglass and obscures the image at night. Clean the bubble and check the internal light shield's seal during installation. For purely outdoor use with long night range, a bullet or turret camera is often preferable.

Indoor or outdoor?

Both, provided you check the waterproofing rating. IP66 or IP67 for any installation exposed to rain, including under a canopy: condensation is unforgiving.
