Description
The Ajax MotionCam Outdoor outdoor detector combines two infrared sensors, anti-masking and a camera: on every alarm, images are sent with the alert.
What it is for
Spotting the intruder outside, before he reaches the building, and seeing what it is: an animal, a passer-by or someone prowling. You clear the doubt from the app, without going there.
Compatibility
Photo verification works with a Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus hub. The first-generation Hub does not handle it.
Where to place it
- On the path the intruder must cross to reach the house.
- Test the signal in the app before fixing it; a ReX 2 repeater extends the range and relays photo verification.
Its limits, frankly
If you do not need a photo, the MotionProtect Outdoor does the same outdoor detection. And no outdoor detector replaces protection of the interior.
What to combine it with
An outdoor StreetSiren siren, high and visible on the street side. See the Ajax detectors and the whole Ajax alarm range.
No subscription needed: app, notifications and photo verification included. Installation by Belgium Security Brussels possible.
