Description
The Ajax MotionCam PhOD is a PIR motion detector with a camera: on every alarm, a series of images is sent with the alert, and photo on demand (PhOD) lets you look at the room whenever you want.
Compatibility: read before ordering
This model works with a Hub 2 or Hub 2 Plus hub. It is not compatible with the first-generation Hub.
PhOD or standard MotionCam
The MotionCam sends photos on alarms only. The PhOD adds viewing on demand: useful for checking a premises, a shop or a second home without waiting for a trigger.
Where to place it
At about 2.4 m high, so that the intruder crosses the field, away from sunny windows, radiators and air-conditioning vents. Test the signal in the app before fixing it.
