Description
The Ajax MotionProtect Outdoor outdoor detector is a wireless motion detector with two infrared sensors and anti-masking, designed to watch the outside.
What it is for
Spotting the intruder before he reaches the building: garden, driveway, yard, side of a façade. The two infrared sensors and the anti-masking help limit false alarms and neutralisation attempts.
Where to place it
- On the path the intruder must cross to reach the house.
- Test the signal in the app before fixing it; a ReX repeater extends the range if needed.
Its limits, frankly
It detects, it shows nothing. For a photo on every alarm, see the MotionCam Outdoor. And it does not replace protection of the interior: combine it with a MotionProtect inside the house.
What to combine it with
An outdoor StreetSiren siren, high and visible on the street side. See the Ajax detectors and the whole Ajax alarm range.
Installation by Belgium Security Brussels possible; declaration on police-on-web within 10 days.
