Where to start

• Dahua cameras — every technology together: IP network, HDCVI over coaxial cable, domes, bullets, motorised PTZ and thermal.
• Dahua IP cameras — network cameras only, to be connected to an NVR.
• Dahua NVRs — network recorders, from 4 to 128 channels.
• Dahua XVRs — hybrid recorders, to reuse existing coaxial cabling.
• Hard drives and storage — the surveillance-grade drive that goes with the recorder.
• Dahua mounts and brackets — wall, corner and ceiling mounts, and junction boxes.
• Dahua AirShield alarm — the wireless alarm range, controlled from the same app as your cameras.

Choosing between IP and HDCVI

IP cameras run over a network cable and connect to an NVR; this is the default choice for a new installation. HDCVI cameras reuse coaxial cabling that is already in place and connect to an XVR: this is how you modernise an old analogue system without pulling new cable.
