Description
The Ajax KeyPad wireless touch keypad lets you arm and disarm the system by code, without taking out your phone.
Why a keypad
A system that is not armed protects nothing. Typing a code as you walk through the door is faster than opening the app, and you can give someone access without sharing your phone.
What it allows
- A general code, and individual codes per user.
- A duress code, to be entered if you are forced to disarm.
Where to place it
Indoors, near the entrance, at about 1.4 m high, never on an outside façade. Test the signal in the app before fixing it (10 sirens and keypads at most per hub).
Its limits, frankly
The KeyPad works by code only. To arm with a badge, see the KeyPad Plus; for a screen showing the system status, the KeyPad TouchScreen.
What to combine it with
A Hub 2 hub and a StreetSiren siren. See the Ajax keypads and the whole Ajax alarm range. Installation by Belgium Security Brussels possible.
