Description
The Ajax Hub alarm kit with touch keypad brings together the Hub hub (GSM and Ethernet), a motion detector, an opening contact, a touch keypad, an indoor siren and a remote control.
This black version of the kit contains the same items as the white kit, in a black finish.
Who it is for
An apartment, a studio or a second home: one passage zone covered, the front door monitored, a siren inside, and two ways to arm: the keypad near the entrance, the remote control on your way out.
Its limits, frankly
The first-generation Hub does not handle photo verification: you know an alarm went off, not what caused it. If remote verification matters, go for the Hub 2 kit with keypad and siren instead. The kit has no outdoor siren: the indoor one warns the occupants, not the neighbourhood.
Where to place it
Detector at about 2.4 m high, so that the intruder crosses the field, away from radiators and sunny windows. Keypad indoors, near the entrance, never on an outside façade.
