Description
The Ajax MotionProtect detector is a wireless passive infrared (PIR) motion detector: it watches a passage room up to 12 m and alerts the hub by Jeweller radio.
This black version is technically identical to the white version: same operation, same compatibility. It blends in more discreetly on a dark wall, frame or furniture.
What it is for
Protecting the interior: living room, corridor, landing. It is pet-immune and runs for several years on its battery.
Where to place it
- At about 2.4 m high, oriented so that the intruder crosses the field.
- Never facing a sunny window, a radiator or an air-conditioning vent.
- Test the signal in the app before fixing it.
Its limits, frankly
The MotionProtect detects, it shows nothing: to see the cause of an alarm, take a MotionCam. In a veranda or a draught, the MotionProtect Plus limits false alarms.
