Description
The Ajax LeaksProtect water leak detector reports a water leak in the same app as your alarm.
This black version is technically identical to the white version: same operation, same compatibility. It blends in more discreetly on a dark wall, frame or furniture.
What it is for
Being warned before the damage grows: under a sink, behind a washing machine or dishwasher, near a water heater, in a cellar or a bathroom. One system and one app for both break-ins and water.
Where to place it
Flat, where the water would arrive first. Test the signal in the app before fixing it; a ReX repeater extends the range if needed, for a cellar for example.
Its limits, frankly
It warns of a leak, it does not shut it off: the alert lets you act, or ask someone to step in. It works with an Ajax hub: without a hub, it is of no use.
