Description
The Ajax KeyPad Outdoor keypad (black) is a wireless touch keypad installed outdoors, near the front door or gate. The system is armed and disarmed with a code, a Tag key fob, a Pass card or your smartphone.
The same device as the white KeyPad Outdoor, in a black finish that is more discreet on a dark façade.
Who is it for?
For homes, shops and offices where you want to disarm before opening the door, and for sites where several people each have their own access.
Key points
- Four ways to authenticate: a 4- to 6-digit code, Tag, Pass (DESFire technology) or a smartphone via Bluetooth.
- IP66 enclosure and IK08 impact resistance; operates from -25 °C to +60 °C.
- Two pre-installed CR123A batteries: up to 2 years of battery life; optional 10.5–14 V external power supply.
- Jeweller radio up to approximately 1,700 m from the control panel, compatible with range extenders.
- Built-in buzzer, tamper protection, duress code and temporary lockout after incorrect code attempts.
Examples of use
Disarming when you arrive at the gate, or giving a Tag key fob to someone you trust rather than a key or a code. It requires a control panel running OS Malevich 2.33 or later.
KeyPad Outdoor or KeyPad Plus?
The KeyPad Plus also accepts codes, Pass and Tag, but is for indoor use only. The KeyPad Outdoor withstands rain and impacts and adds smartphone authentication.
Goes well with
A StreetSiren and extra key fobs in a pack of 10 Tags. The rest of the range is in the Ajax alarms in Belgium section.
