Description
The Ajax Hub alarm kit with dome Wi-Fi camera brings together the Hub hub (GSM and Ethernet), a motion detector, an opening contact, a remote control and a 3 MP anti-vandal dome Wi-Fi camera with infrared.
Who it is for
A small home or premises that wants a basic alarm and a camera in the same purchase: one passage zone covered, the front door monitored, and a remote control to arm on your way out.
Its limits, frankly
The first-generation Hub does not handle photo verification: the motion detector tells you there was an alarm, not what caused it. The kit contains no siren: the alert goes to your phone, with no deterrent effect on site. For photo verification, look at a Hub 2 kit instead.
Where to place it
Detector at about 2.4 m high, so that the intruder crosses the field, away from radiators and sunny windows. For the camera, ask us for advice via the contact form on its location and connection.
What to add first
A StreetSiren and a DoorProtect contact for each ground-floor access. See the alarm kits and the whole Ajax alarm range.
No subscription needed for the alarm; declaration on police-on-web within 10 days. Installation by Belgium Security Brussels possible.
