Description
The Ajax Button panic button (white) is a small wireless transmitter that sends an alert to the control panel at a single press. Depending on its settings, it works as an emergency button or as a control for your automations.
Who is it for?
Shops, medical practices, reception desks, people living alone or elderly people: anyone who must be able to call for help without reaching a keypad or a phone. It can be carried as a key ring or pendant, or fixed under a counter.
Key points
- Two-way, encrypted Jeweller radio, up to 1,300 m from the control panel in open space.
- Pre-installed CR2032 battery: up to 5 years of battery life.
- Three modes: Panic, Control (triggers an automation scenario) and muting a fire alarm.
- Protection against accidental presses: recessed button, long press (more than 1.5 s) or double press, as you prefer.
- IP55 enclosure, usable from -10 °C to +40 °C.
Examples of use
A discreet alert at a shop till, a call for help at home, or controlling an Ajax Relay to open a garage door in Control mode. The Holder lets you fix it to a wall or under a desk.
Button, DoubleButton or SpaceControl?
The Button has a single key and is also suited to automations. The DoubleButton requires two buttons to be pressed at the same time, separated by a barrier: ideal where a false alarm would be costly. The SpaceControl key fob adds arming and disarming of the system.
Goes well with
A Hub 2 control panel, a HomeSiren and, to wear it around your neck, an Ajax lanyard. All the equipment is in our Ajax alarm system section; you can also put together your installation with the alarm configurator.
