Description
The Ajax KeyPad Plus is a wireless touch keypad with an RFID reader: the system is armed and disarmed by code, badge or card.
This black version is technically identical to the white version: same operation, same compatibility. It blends in more discreetly on a dark wall, frame or furniture.
Why a keypad, when you already have the app
Because a system that is not armed protects nothing. Taking out your phone, unlocking it, opening the app and pressing: four steps, every time. A badge held to the keypad as you walk through the door: just one.
That is the difference between a system armed every day and a system armed when you remember.
The RFID reader, who is it for
The badge becomes essential as soon as someone else enters your home or premises: cleaner, tenant, employee, family member. Everyone has their own, and everyone is identified in the event log — you see who disarmed and at what time.
In a shop or small business, it is also what lets you open in the morning without sharing one code among ten people.
What to plan
- Additional Tag badges or Pass cards — sold in packs of 3, 10 or 100.
- Installation indoors, near the front door, within the programmed exit delay.

Annual maintenance
The Royal Decree of 25 April 2007 makes the user responsible for the annual maintenance of their system — this includes checking the batteries of the keypad and of each detector. One hour, once a year. We can take care of it.
