Description
Complete Ajax alarm kit built around the Hub 2 control panel (Ethernet and dual GSM), supplied with a photo-verification motion detector (PIRCAM), a keypad with RFID reader and three badges, an indoor siren, an opening contact and a remote control.
This black version of the kit contains the same items as the white kit, in a black finish.
What this kit really covers
It is the starting configuration for an apartment or a compact house: a living room protected by the detector, the front door by the opening contact, and two ways to arm the system — the keypad on your way out, the remote control from the car.
The PIRCAM is what changes everything: on every trigger, images are sent with the alert. False alarms stop being a problem, and you no longer have to go home "to check".
The RFID keypad, who is it for
The badges let you arm and disarm without a code. It is practical for families, and essential as soon as someone else enters your home — cleaner, seasonal tenant, employee: everyone has their own badge, and you see who disarmed and when.
What is still missing
- An outdoor siren: the indoor siren alerts the occupants, the outdoor one deters even before the attempt and draws the neighbours' attention to the house.
- A contact for each additional ground-floor access.
- The dispatching centre if you want someone to verify the alarm for you.
Installation and obligations
You can install this kit yourself in your own home. If you prefer to have it installed, only a company approved by the FPS Home Affairs (SPF Intérieur) may legally do so for a third party — such as Belgium Security Brussels. In both cases, the declaration on police-on-web within ten days remains mandatory.
