The price of an Ajax alarm depends on three things: the hub, the number of detectors and the monitoring options. There is no single price. A studio does not need the same equipment as a detached house. This guide gives the prices incl. VAT of the equipment and services, then a worked total for four common situations.

What makes the price vary
- The hub: it costs between €208.66 and €512.48 depending on the model.
- The number of detectors: one per passage area, one per entrance to monitor.
- The siren and the keypad: useful in a house or a shop, optional in a small home.
- Installation: you can do it yourself or hand it to an approved installer.
- Monitoring: no subscription is required. Monitoring is an option.
Ajax hub prices
The hub is the brain of the system. All detectors pair with it over Jeweller radio.

Installation: how much and by whom?
Installation by Belgium Security Brussels, a company approved by the FPS Interior (no. 0666948937), costs €302.50 incl. VAT (€250 excl. VAT) for up to 10 devices, within 15 km of Brussels. Beyond that, a €121 incl. VAT travel charge applies. Details are on the installation and services page.
You can also fit the system yourself. Each device's QR code is added in the app and a home takes about half a day. That saves €302.50. For a shop or an installation for a third party, the law requires a company approved by the FPS Interior.

These options are independent. A house with monitoring and a backup SIM adds €31.46 per month, or €377.52 per year. Delivery and formalities
Delivery is free in Belgium from €302.50 incl. VAT. Orders ship from Wemmel, and all the totals above exceed that threshold. Do not forget to register the alarm on police-on-web within 10 days, with a confirmation every year. The outdoor siren is limited to 3 minutes. How not to overspend
- Count the real entrances: one opening detector per exposed door, not per upstairs window.
- Use a MotionCam only where a photo adds something, such as the hall or the shop window.
- Choose a Hub 2 before a Hub 2 Plus as long as you stay under 100 devices.
- Skip the outdoor siren if an apartment has no accessible facade.
- Do not pay for monitoring until you need it.

What is the minimum price of an Ajax alarm?

Is a subscription mandatory?
No. The app, notifications, photo verification and updates are included. Monitoring remains optional.

Yes. The hub accepts up to 100 devices (200 for the Hub 2 Plus) and each new detector pairs from the app.
