VESTA home automation over Z-Wave and ZigBee

The VESTA home automation range turns the alarm control panel into the building's control unit. The modules communicate over Z-Wave or ZigBee with the same panel and the same app as the detectors: a single system to arm, a single interface to switch off the heating, close the blinds or control a light as you leave.

The first thing to check before ordering is the radio technology: a control panel only drives the protocols built into it, and a ZigBee module will not pair with a Z-Wave-only controller. So check your panel's data sheet in VESTA alarm control panels before adding modules. The second point is actual use: a thermostat and two well-placed sockets are of more service than a long list of connected devices. For the detection side, complete with VESTA detectors.
